Spay and Neuter
Edmonton South Animal Hospital recognized that spay and neuter procedure is a stressful event for both pets and owners so aside from our reasonable rate and great location, we have designed something that would make this event easier for you.
- We have express drop off; you can pre-book and pre-pay ahead of time so in the morning of the surgery, when you drop of your pet, all you need to do is sign in.
- We place a printed pet-detector collar around their neck.
- Checking in your pet has never been easier with our Prime Health Advantage pet ID system. Each Prime Health Advantage pet member is issued a bar coded ID so it will be easy to pull out file and Identification. This is also available for non Prime Health Advantage member for a minimal fee.
- We made our hours of operation longer so you can pick up your pet later in the day, after the procedure.
- For your convenience, you can drop your pet off later in the afternoon for the next day procedure, with a very minimal fee, so you won’t have to drop them off early in the morning.
- Every pet gets a take home instruction and discharge notes.
- We give 6 weeks insurance coverage trial. Effective after 48 hrs up to $ 5,000 insurance coverage. (Optional to owners)
- Free gourmet coffee when dropping off your pet for the procedure at our refreshment area.
- We have in-house Lab and can do pre-anesthetic panel right away to detect disease before putting your pet under general anesthesia for your ease of mind and comfort and you pay half the regular price.
